About the Competition and Raffle
Eligibility: Eligible entrants must be financial AMWU NSW & ACT members, 18 years or older, and an Australian resident. One entry per person.
Exclusions: Any entries that include discriminatory or aggressive language will be disqualified from the raffle. AMWU employees and their immediate family members are also excluded.
The competition: The competition will be open from Monday 18 May until 5:00PM, Monday 25 May. Enter via the Surveymonkey form, submit 300 words or less about the Aussie-made product you're proudest of. You are also encouraged to upload a photo. If you are having difficulties with the form or photo upload, you may also email your entry to [email protected] (remember to tell us who you are in the email). Each member gets one entry, but if you'd like to make any changes to your entry, you can by sending an email to [email protected] before entries close.
Competition timeline: The winner will be picked via a random draw and contacted no later than Friday 29 May. The winner will be contacted via phone call and they will receive the gift certificate via email. Should the winner decline the prize, there will be a re-draw from the existing entries.
Tips:
- Make sure you are up to date on your membership fees before entering - reach out to your AMWU Organiser or call the AMWU on 02 9897 4200 to check if you're not sure.
- While you can write about anything you're passionate about, we encourage entries about AMWU-made products (ideally something that you make if applicable!)
- A range of entries, including the winning entry, will be showcased on our social media pages. We'll be in touch if we're looking to feature yours - keep an eye out.
About the Gift Certificate
The winner will receive a gift certificate for 7 nights' accommodation at their choice of one of three Federation of Community, Sporting and Workers Clubs Resorts:
- Riverside Holiday Resort - Urunga
- Seaside Holiday Resort - Fingal Bay
- Haven Holiday Resort - Sussex Inlet
The financial value of this prize will vary from $850 to 1250 depending on location chosen and time of year.
This promotion has the following rules:
- Easter and School Holiday periods except for July Holidays are excluded from the promotion.
- The gift certificate is for a two-bedroom apartment (Sleeps 6).
- The gift certificate expires on June 30, 2027.
- Booking instructions will be on the gift certificate.
