Your union dues are tax deductible.
Here's how to claim them in three easy steps:
1. At the end of the Financial Year, our membership team will send out your new membership card and have a statement of the dues that you have paid in the last 12 months. It is important to hold onto this statement for filling out your tax.
2. To claim this deduction, simply fill out the total amount paid for the current financial year where requested on your tax form.
3. If you have any enquiries about your membership dues, simply call our Membership team on 9879 4200.
REMEMBER: If your total claim for tax-deductible expenses exceeded $300 for the financial year, you may be required to provide this statement as written evidence.
