Report dodgy welding

Report dodgy welding

Your safety on site is paramount, yet we know there have been issues with dodgy welds and safety on site. Report dodgy welding below, for investigation by AMWU welding inspectors.

To keep your workplace safe, the AMWU has brought in new welding inspectors to visit worksites across Victoria.

The welding inspectors and AMWU Organisers will be visiting worksites to insist on qualified welders and ensuring on site welding is completed to Australian standards.

If there is welding on your construction site or you have seen a dodgy weld on site, report it below, and we will get the AMWU welding inspectors or organisers onto it. Be sure to include your contact details and information about the worksite.

Make sure safety is not put at risk on your job – insist on qualified welders and welding to Australian standards.

Are you a boilermaker interested in getting tested and certified at the new AMWU welding testing centre? Expressions of interest are being taken now! Sign up here.
