Simple ways that you can make workplaces safer for LGBTIQA+ people are:
- Put your pronoun (eg. She/Her, He/Him, They/Them) on your email signature.
- Avoid making assumptions about your colleague’s partner or dating life.
- Encourage your LGBTIQA+ colleagues to seek support from the AMWU if they do experience discrimination or harassment in the workplace.
