Keep apprentices on the tools

Can you imagine becoming a qualified tradesperson never having touched a toolbox?

The body that oversees apprentice training, the Australian Industry Skills Council, wants to remove workplace learning as a requirement for apprenticeships.

That means you could complete your apprenticeship never having set foot in a workshop.

This is an attack on our skills and our trades.

Sign up NOW to attend the AMWU's online mass meeting to plan our strategy to keep apprentices on the tools - 5pm WA time, 8pm NSW/Vic/Tas time, 7pm Queensland time, 7:30 SA time.
