What would you do if your employer wanted to attend your medical appointment?
You should be aware that there is no reason for anyone to attend your medical appointments, other than someone of your choosing.
Only for return to work arrangements, is it acceptable for your employer to speak with your doctor about suitable work.
You need to be present during any conversations between your treating doctor and the supervisor or RTW/rehabilitation provider. You may also wish to take a union delegate/ HSR or friend/family member with you.
