It's been 10 weeks since 55 CUB maintenance workers were sacked and then offered their jobs back with a non-union deal that slashed their wages and conditions. The CUB 55 are fighting for their reinstatement and to end the shameful anti-worker, anti-union tactics of CUB – they need your help to win.
We need to make sure the public know about CUB’s disgusting treatment of its workers, so on Tuesday afternoon join us at Flinders Street Station to hand out flyers and 'Boycott CUB' stubby holders to city commuters.
Date: This Tuesday 16th August
Time: 4pm onwards
Location: Flinders Street Station, Flinders Street, Melbourne.
Can you join us? RSVP below!
This battle is bigger than the CUB 55 – it’s a battle against giant corporations who want to rip off workers to increase profits. Come along to take a stand alongside the CUB 55.
If you can't make it but want to support the workers, you can come along to the weekly rally every Thursday 12.30pm at the CUB brewery picket line: Southampton Cres, Abbotsford.
Or you can donate to the workers' fighting fund: www.gofundme.com/CUBworkers
