Award Information

A large proportion of our members are covered under the relevant Award for their industry.

Awards are also the baseline used when negotiating for Enterprise Bargaining Agreements.

Below you can find links to the main Awards that our members work under. If you are covered by a different Award we would be pleased to help you with information - just email communications@amwu.org.au

These are brief guides with summaries of the awards, allowances and other useful information. They are updated annually (note that the year in the name of the Award does not indicate the year it was updated!).

Food, Beverage and Tobacco Manufacturing Award 2010

Manufacturing and Associated Industries and Occupations Award 2010

Vehicle Manufacturing, Repair, Services and Retail Award 2010

Graphic Arts, Printing and Publishing Award 2010

You can also read information here about the National Employment Standards, which are the minimum conditions a full time worker must have in Australia, regardless of industry or occupation. Many Awards offer above these conditions.
