2016 QLD/NT State Conference

Over the last two days delegates have been working hard representing members at the 2016 Queensland and Northern Territory AMWU State Conference.

Check out the video wrap-up of the 2016 State Conference

State conference is held once every three years. It is a great opportunity for delegates to have input on the future direction of our union.

Recommendations were passed concerning :

  • a new state and territory-wide jobs campaign
  • reclaiming the bargaining agenda
  • stronger representation for women and apprentices
