Towards a Renewable Energy Superpower

Australia is a global leader in renewable energy research and development and has access to the best renewable energy sources in the world. We have a significant opportunity to become a renewable energy superpower, creating a good jobs boom in our regions while taking decisive steps for a clean energy future.

This report, commissioned by the Australian Manufacturing Workers’ Union, Climate Action Network Australia and Boundless Earth, and prepared by SGS Economics and Planning and the UTS Institute for Sustainable Futures, brings to light major industry opportunities for Australia in the global clean energy sector.
