A 4-day course usually delivered over two parts (3 and 2 days), but condensed into one part (4 days).

This course covers foundation skills and knowledge including:
- Role of Delegates
- Dispute resolution procedures
- Assisting members
- Communication skills
- Fair Work Act.
Delegates should register for this course as soon as possible after being elected. When applying for leave you need to apply for the full 5 days.
