The AMWU has started a Youth Committee to represent & campaign for young workers. And we're looking for any interested AMWU members (30 years and under) to put their hand up and join the Youth Committee!
Our next meeting will be held 5pm Wednesday 29th March at the AMWU rooftop (Level 3, 251 Queensberry St, Carlton South).
We're working on some crucial campaigns such as protecting penalty rates, alongside some fun projects to get involved in both at your workplace and within the union.
This is your opportunity to get involved in making real change to your workplaces and community, to tell us what you want out of your union, and to meet other young union activists.
Plus we'll put on some drinks and snacks!
