Young workers in the building and construction industries have been given the chance to win the trip of a lifetime, with a scholarship program run by Incolink and the Australian Overseas Foundation.
The scholarship has been established to support the career and skills advancement of a young worker in the industry, with the winner being given the chance to work and study in a country of their choice for at least a year.
The scholarship, worth up to $10 000, will cover the winner’s return airfare, any required Visas, and contribute to study and settling-in costs. Support services will also be available for gaining employment and accommodation while overseas.
If you are an Australian citizen between the ages of 21 – 27, have recently completed your apprenticeship and work in the building and construction industry, you are eligible to apply.
Applications for the scholarship close on August 2.
