The AMWU has launched a Women's Committee to represent & campaign for women workers. And we're looking for any interested AMWU women members to put their hand up and join the Women's Committee!
Our next meeting will be held 5pm Thursday 29th June at the AMWU (Level 3, 251 Queensberry St, Carlton South).
We're going to be starting a number of great campaigns around issues such as Domestic and Family Violence Leave, Superannuation for Women, and we'll be setting our agenda & priorities for the year.
Not to mention you'll get one of our new Strong Union Women t-shirts, always in high demand!
This is your opportunity to tell us what you want out of your union, to discuss how the union can better service and advocate for our women members, and to meet other women union activists.
