Rules

The AMWU and its members are governed by rules registered with the Fair Work Commission, which are available here.

On 6 February 2023, the AMWU made application to amend our Rules, changing the age limit of apprentices and young works on governing bodies from 25 to 30 years of age. A copy of the application can be found here.

On 11 April 2023, the Fair Work Commission certified the proposed changes. A copy of the FWC’s decision can be found here.

For enquiries about the latest rule changes, or any further information, please contact the Helpdesk at [email protected] or 1300 732 698.
