AMWU member named Apprentice of the Year

Janelle Kent is a young woman on a mission. She pursued her dreams of becoming an automotive electrical apprentice and was recently awarded 1st Year Automotive Apprentice of the year by TAFE Gold Coast. The 24 year old showed an early interest in working on cars and trucks with family. “I’ve been working on cars with dad my whole life, I started when I was just 8 months old and have always loved it.” Ms Kent said.
