Coates Hire Workers are taking action around the country for better conditions at work.
Over the next few days Coates Hire union members will be voting YES or NO on various forms of protected industrial action.
After 12 months of negotiations, Coates Hire’s owners are continuing to demand a pay freeze and to slash conditions.
This is a big decision for most Coates Hire workers because most of them work in small locations in groups of 2 or 3 and many are far removed from regular, daily connection with their workmates.
Every day workers have to cope with aggressive management that put pressure on them. They have stuck together to stop previous efforts of the company to break down their Agreement.
Now, again, they find themselves in a tough struggle. Working in isolation means they need all the support we can give them.
Send them a message of solidarity below to keep up the fight and stay strong.
